Deep Dish Dungeon System Requirements and Steam Deck

Official Deep Dish Dungeon PC and Mac system requirements, Steam Deck Verified status, controller support, graphics settings and the 11 supported languages.

Deep Dish Dungeon has modest hardware needs for a 3D co-op game. It runs on Windows and macOS, and it is Steam Deck Verified. Below are the official minimum and recommended requirements from the Steam store page, plus what we know about controllers, graphics settings and languages.

Windows System Requirements

ComponentMinimumRecommended
OSWindows 10, 11 or newer (64-bit)Windows 10, 11 or newer (64-bit)

DirectXVersion 11Version 11
NetworkBroadband internet connectionBroadband internet connection

Both tiers require a 64-bit processor and operating system. The broadband requirement applies to online co-op. The store page does not say whether solo play needs a constant connection, so we do not assume either way.

Can my PC run Deep Dish Dungeon?

If your PC runs Windows 10 64-bit and has 8 GB of RAM, any Core i3-class CPU and a graphics card from roughly the last decade, you meet the minimum. The recommended GPU, a GTX 580 or HD 7870, is very old by 2026 standards, so most gaming PCs bought in recent years exceed it. The step most likely to matter is the jump from 8 GB to 16 GB of RAM in the recommended tier.

Mac System Requirements

ComponentMinimum
OSmacOS (no specific version listed)
ProcessorIntel Core i3 or better
Memory8 GB RAM
GraphicsDX9 (shader model 3.0) or DX11 with feature level 9.3 class
NetworkBroadband internet connection
Storage2 GB available space

The Mac listing names only an Intel processor and gives no recommended tier. Apple Silicon support is not mentioned explicitly in the requirement text. If you use an M-series Mac, the free demo is the safest way to test performance before launch.

Steam Deck

The developers announced on September 30, 2026 that Deep Dish Dungeon is Steam Deck Verified. Getting there took controller support, which arrived in demo update v1013 in June 2026. Dev Blog #9 says part of the team worked specifically on making the full game run well on Steam Deck. You can play solo or join co-op from the Deck.

Linux

Steam's platform data lists Windows and macOS only, with no native Linux build. Steam Deck Verified status means the Windows build is validated to run through Proton on the Deck. Desktop Linux through Proton may work too, but it is not officially listed.

Controller Support

Full controller support was added in demo update v1013. The input device is detected in real time, and the Key Binding screen switches between controller and keyboard layouts automatically, depending on which one you used last.

Graphics Settings

Demo update v0254 added a Low/Medium/High quality option; Low turned off dynamic shadows and post-processing. Demo v1013 later removed the Low option, keeping Medium and High. If you are on minimum-spec hardware, try the demo to see how the Medium setting performs on your machine. Final launch settings may differ.

Supported Languages

The store page lists 11 languages: English, Portuguese (Brazil), French, German, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Japanese, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Most of these were added to the demo in update v0271 (March 2026), after the team announced a localization push in Dev Blog #7.
